About Us

Harris Manufacturing was established in 2014 in order to help its sister company, Harris Thermal Transfer Products, expand its business reach to the Midwest and Eastern United States and into the Canadian Provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Harris Thermal Transfer Products located in Newberg, Oregon has a rich history dating back to 1885 when they were established as Harris Ice Machine Works and started producing the early ammonia refrigeration systems. Today Harris Thermal Transfer Products produces custom fabricated shell and tube heat exchangers, ASME pressure vessels and other associated equipment.

Harris Manufacturing will produce the same equipment and serve the same industries and customers as Harris Thermal Transfer Products, effectively extending their geographic reach and also developing new customers along the way. Our Montana location will allow us to better compete the Midwest and East Coast manufacturers and overcome the added logistical cost of shipping from the West Coast.

Additionally, Harris Manufacturing is the first ASME Code Stamp manufacturer of Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers in Montana and with the support of their Sister Company's vast amount of experience in the industry, shared customer base and resources, Harris Manufacturing is off to an excellent start.

Harris Manufacturing's facility is located in Bonner, Montana (just outside of Missoula) on 115 acres of industrial zoned land. The facility has 35,000 square ft. of fabrication floor space and 3,500 square ft. of office space.  Their two bays each have two 30 ton overhead cranes (each with dual 15 ton hoists) with 40 ft. under hook.  Each bay also has a 30 ft. x 30 ft. end door for large shipments.
